Episode Notes

In this episode, we dive into the world of decentralized and privacy-preserving personalization with the founders of FirstBatch, Ömer and Kerim Kaya. They discuss the creation of their SmartWeave-based similarity search engine, DANNY, and their key-value database, HollowDB, which utilizes zero-knowledge proofs to provide privacy protected storage. There was so much to discuss as they are building something massively new and audacious.

We explore the potential implications of their work for the future of blockchain technology and decentralized data storage, as well as their plans for the future, including building AI pipelines for persona generation and content matching with interest graphs. FirstBatch is off to an impressive start in the Arweave ecosystem, already with two product launches and several partnerships in the works.
